Will these pictures guarantee a sale?
No. The goal of the listing pictures is to make the property appealing and showcase its strongest features. The pictures and video get prospects to come and see the property for themselves.
What do I need to do in advance of the actual shoot?
We start with a discussion to identify the strong points of the property and to make sure we understand just what pictures and video are needed. This will take about an hour to make sure we know exactly what we will do when we get there to do the actual photography. And to make sure you know what you have to do get ready for us.
The property should be set up for photography and video. That means arranging rooms to remove or minimize clutter. Photographs tend to make spaces seem smaller than they really are. The photographic process tends to emphasize clutter and fill spaces that are not really that full. In general, the more open and neat the property is, the better the photos will look.
How long will it take to do the physical photography?
That will depend on the size of the house, and the features that need to be emphasized. We spend as much time as is needed to properly photograph the property. A typical “shoot” will take about 2 hours.
How soon will the pictures and video be ready?
Normally they are ready on the next business day.
How do I get my pictures and video?
We post the finished pictures on a website and send you a link that allows you to download the photograph and video files.
Who owns the pictures and video?
Whoever pays for them. We do not retain ownership of the work.
